Gifts

It's now the Christmas season and already wallets are empty. It's such a shame to see people camped out at a store 5 days in advance of Black Friday. God said that it's wrong to allow "things" to control you be cause they become your god. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, not presents.
Consider this: if you didn't give gifts on Christmas, how would you celebrate the holiday? The greatest gift was Jesus giving up His life for us so that we would have a way to spend eternity in heaven by accepting Him and what He did for us. Consider His gift this Christmas.

Our Country

I'll keep this simple. Our country is going through immense change and unless we follow God, we're in big trouble! Vote your heart and pray that His best will be done.

Freedom of Choice

"But until a person can say deeply and honestly, "I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday," that person cannot say, "I choose otherwise."
"Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it."

 

These are 2 great quotes with an understandable message: freedom of choice. God has given us freedom to make choices with what we are faced with at all times from the immediate simple pleasure of what I should eat to a destiny filled decision about a job. It is our past that defines how we make choices now and even though we have made bad decisions before we still have the choice of making correct ones now.

When we can't decide on making a choice, the wise thing to do is ask for help so that you will make a proper choice. If there's one thing I've learned in life is that I can ask alot of people what they think I should do but ultimately I have to go to God because it is He who know the future and the right path to take.

So I ask you... who do you ask when you need an answer?

 

Handle It

Thomas Jefferson wrote: "Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude."

Today when you are faced with a problem, how will you handle it? We all make choices each day and we all make mistakes but how we handle the problem can determine the outcome in many circumstances. When God is running your life there is no problem you can't get through. No storm has lasted forever! Ask Jesus Christ to help and He will be there. I know. I've been there, done that and wore out the T-shirt! How about you?
